My guess would be red oak since they have gone more orange. They didnt have classic to sample, but the sand/finish guy said it would be closer to the Natural than IntenSeal. I am interested to Nordic seal on my project as well. So due to budget going to have to give this a go on my own. I lost confidence in my floor guy - I think he wasn't wiping the stain off but letting it dry on resulting in washed paint look. They have been through such an immense amount of heat and pressure during formation that all the sand grains have become crystals of Quartz.
